One thing I really like about being a designer or in the creative field of presenting ideas and art is the storytelling aspect behind everything. So rather than informing you about me, let me tell you a short story:

From what I can remember as an early teenager I never wanted to be a designer, nor did I have any interest in the field. I wanted to be a professional baseball player and play in the Major Leagues with my favourite players. Fortunately for me, I do play in a baseball league. Unfortunately, it is a recreational league and not the Majors.

Design came to me naturally towards the end of my high school years. I really took a liking to graphic design, animating short videos and using Photoshop. I took those skills outside the classroom; creating funny memes to show my friends, designing name-tags for my co-workers and Photoshopping random pieces of art. I stumbled upon the concept of UI/UX at the start of 2024 and I really wanted to make a career out of it. I love the creativity and collaboration that UI/UX jobs entail.
